Yamaha has unveiled its latest version of the NMAX 125 TECH MAX scooter, which includes both a standard and an advanced Tech Max model. The standard NMAX 125 for 2025 features refreshed styling inspired by its larger siblings, with dual-eye LED projector headlights, improved ergonomics, and practical enhancements like 25-litres of underseat storage, keyless ignition, and a USB-C charging port. It has a 125cc four-stroke single-cylinder motor now compliant with Euro5+ emissions standards, offering an urban range of about 185 miles from a 7.1-litre tank, aided by fuel-saving stop-start technology.
The new Tech Max variant takes the standard model and adds a 4.2-inch full-colour TFT display with integrated Garmin navigation, premium leather seat upholstery with gold stitching, and comes in exclusive color options like Ceramic Grey and Dark Magma. Both models share features like telescopic front suspension, a monoshock at the rear, 13-inch alloy wheels, and dual disc brakes with ABS.

In the Philippines, the Yamaha NMAX 155 (a version with a larger engine displacement) is considered one of the best-selling scooters.
