Reliance’s business and financial performance in fiscal year 22 showed an overall improvement across the board. It became India’s first company to surpass $100 billion in annual revenue during fiscal year 2022. Reliance’s consolidated revenue increased by 7% to Rs 7.93 lakh crore ($104.6 billion). Reliance’s annual consolidated EBITDA has surpassed Rs 1.25 lakh crore.
Reliance’s exports increased by 75% to exceed Rs 2,50,000 crore. In the year, the company accounted for nearly 8.4% of India’s merchandise exports, up from 6.8% the previous year. Reliance remained India’s largest taxpayer in fiscal year 22. Reliance’s direct and indirect tax contributions to the national exchequer increased 38.8% to Rs 1,88,012 crore.
During fiscal year 2022, Jio further solidified its position as India’s leading digital service provider. Jio’s 4G network has 421 million mobile broadband subscribers. They also consume nearly 20 GB of broadband data per month on average, nearly doubling their consumption from the previous year.

In his speech, Mukesh Ambani stated that Jio 5G will be the world’s largest and most advanced 5G network. He is determined to make India the world’s largest data-driven economy, surpassing China and the United States.
